Fernandina Beach SAL Amelia River, N of S.R. 200 B rr   in use steel  CSX steel truss wing span, swing span section once used by FEC Ry to cross St. Johns River between Palatka and East Palatka, when FEC abandoned this section, span was loaded on barge and brought up Fernandina 7/17

FL/GA line SAL St. Mary's River B rr 1940 in use steel First Coast RR girder swing span,  Still in use by First Coast Railroad which is owned by Genessee and Wyoming. They lease the tracks from CSX which SAL built the line in the late 1880s-early 1890s to connect Yulee/Jacksonville to Savannah. It became SAL's main line to Florida shortly thereafter. We found pics of the bridge in 1920s with 2 steel trusses on either side of the swing span so sometime later the truss spans were replaced by steel girder spans.  Both spans of the RR and highway bridge next to it are locked in place but can be opened only with advanced notice and permission by CSX and FDOT respectively. 2/17
